Parker Andrew Fisher
July 26, 2002 – September 7, 2023
The son of David Bruce Fisher and Jennifer Arno Fisher, Parker was born in Barre, Vermont, and raised in Kernersville, North Carolina. He was the grandson of Dawn and Brad Fisher, and Connie and Patrick Arno. While a student of Simon G. Atkins Academic and Technology High School he was a member of the golf team and the academic team, graduating with honors. At the time of his death, Parker was a senior at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, with a major in Public Policy, and was excited about his post-graduation plans to work for AmeriCorps while considering a Master’s degree program.
A brilliant student, Parker also enjoyed employment, and while a full-time student in both high school and university he kept two part-time jobs: working in a restaurant while managing his own online retail business. Good at managing funds, he supported his passion for international travel, and visited London, Vancouver, Amsterdam, Singapore, Munich, and Nuremberg.
Parker loved being with his family, especially holiday and vacation gatherings with his brother Kyle Fisher and cousins Jackson and Katie Lods. He was an avid fan of baseball, sharing his love of the sport with his dad, and visiting major league ballparks together whenever possible (especially Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox in Boston).
This dear Child of God left us too soon, leaving a huge hole in his family, and will forever be loved and missed. May he rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
