Maundy Thursday Prayer Vigil Signup

Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 9 PM through Good Friday, April 18 at Noon

Jesus and the disciples have just finished the Last Supper. They have come to the Garden of Gethsemane, and Jesus says to the disciples: 

“Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.  Stay here and keep watch with me.”  Jesus walks away to pray and three separate times he comes back only to find his disciples sleeping.  He beseeches his disciples, “Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?”

The Holy Week Prayer Vigil is our opportunity to keep watch and pray with Jesus as we commemorate the final hours before his death on Good Friday. We invite you to sign up for an hour of prayer either in the sanctuary or in your home.  Click the button below to sign up for your time spot.
